The global tourism industry’s dynamic nature demands a continuous supply of highly skilled and adaptable professionals. This paper explores the construction of a collaborative model for industry-education integration in tourism management talent cultivation at the University of Sanya. Drawing upon existing research on synergistic theory, discipline construction, and innovation and entrepreneurship in the context of industry-education integration, this study proposes a comprehensive framework designed to enhance the practical relevance, innovation capabilities, and overall quality of tourism management graduates. The paper outlines key components of the synergistic model, discusses its application in tourism education, and identifies essential mechanisms for its effective implementation. While acknowledging limitations regarding specific detailed data on Sanya University’s current practices, this research provides a theoretical foundation and strategic pathways for optimizing talent cultivation in the evolving tourism landscape.
